Franka Baly, CEO & Principal Web Designer

“At ReEmergence we are not interested in just working with you one-time, we want to be an extension of your company and grow with you as you grow.”

Franka Baly is a Houston transplant from the beautiful island of St. Croix. Franka was bitten by the entrepreneurial bug as a child while working with her father in his own construction business.

In 2000, Franka realized her dream by launching ReEmergence. ReEmergence, meaning rebirth or reinvention, had been fostered for several years while Franka honed her skills in design, training, marketing, e-commerce, usability, online community and content development and project management. With such a breadth and scope of skills, Franka has been an asset to several major corporations such as American General, AIG VALIC, Compaq Computer Corporation, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Ashford.com and Hewlett Packard.

Franka is passionate about helping people and using her creative talents to help them bring their vision to life. She has the gift of being able to understand the needs of her clients and then to translate those needs into impactful design. To date, ReEmergence has launched or redesigned over 100 plus websites and has worked on countless projects from usability evaluations to new branding campaigns to technical training. Franka always goes the extra mile for her clients, which has allowed her to build great relationships. She is the 2005 Chrysalis Award recipient for Success in the City and a 2006 YMCA Minority Achiever, she has also won numerous corporate awards. She has been featured in national and local publications such as Black Enterprise, Houston Woman Magazine, Houston Business Journal, The Houston Chronicle and the Minority Executive Report. Franka is also passionate about helping children and finding a cure for breast cancer and volunteers with several non-profit organizations.

She is the mother of active twin boys.

Radhika Nair, Project Manager/Content Developer

"If a job is worth doing, it's worth doing well"

Radhika Nair is a proud Aggie! She was born and raised in India, and has been working on her Texan drawl for the past 13 years. She has had the rare opportunity to work both as designer and a software developer. She has an undergraduate degree in Interior Architecture and a Masters in Management of Information System.

She has helped design showrooms for Levis Struass and Louise Phillipe, and Aditi Malya School, a state of the art school in Bangalore, India, to name a few. On the Software side, her major client was the Scott and White Hospital system in Temple, Texas.

The commonalities in both fields she observes, is that one needs to be able to fully understand the users and their needs, and sometimes even help them come up with feasible and realistic requirements. She loves working with people, and enjoys coming up with comprehensive, creative solutions for the growth of their business.

Being a part of the caring and creative family at ReEmergence is a dream come true for her.

Shunta Glenn, Account Manager

A seasoned account manager, Shunta Glenn brings her professionalism and skills to the ReEmergence creative team. Since joining ReEmergence in 2009, she has immersed herself in the web and graphic design industry, learning the nuances of building relationships, managing accounts, and selling graphic design and web development products and services. You can find her head down working on a proposal for a new client or on the phone following up with customers. She is definitely excited about being in such a creative and exciting industry and her enthusiasm is infectious!

A native of Kansas, Shunta received her Master’s degree in Business Management from Friends University in Wichita, Kansas. She is a seasoned staffing professional. Shunta has amassed an impressive resume in corporate America having worked for several organizations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Kansas, Kelly Services, and Resource Staffing. As an account manager in the staffing industry, she had the opportunity to work clients such as PepsiCo, Deloitte & Touché LLP, Hilton Americas-Houston, and Wells Fargo.

Shunta moved with her family from Topeka, Kansas five years ago. She is getting used to all things Texan. In her spare time, you can find her reading, perfecting her Bikram yoga practice, catching up with friends and family, or attending extra curricular activities for her two boys.

Jillian Haller, Graphic Artist/Principal Print Designer

A recent visual communications graduate from Washington University in St. Louis, the unassuming, calm and cool Jillian Haller, may pass off as a high school kid. But, her exceptional understanding of the concepts of graphic design and her sheer talent and creativity can wow even the most experienced in her field.

Her impressive resume at school includes the Anne Fuller Dillon Award in Visual Communications, making the Dean’s List for three consecutive years, the Wuerpel Award in Core, earning the Most Promising Sophomore award, Vice President of the Art School Council January 2007–May 2008, Vice President of the AIGA Student Chapter, September 2007–May 2008.

She loves scouring the web as a past time, and is a great resource for online galleries featuring contemporary artists, and graphic and interior designers! Her pet peeve - the misuse of ‘Type’!
